Job Cards & Billing

How to Create Split & Inverter AC Installation Job Cards

Improper AC installation causes 80% of premature compressor failures, refrigerant leaks, and customer disputes. A standardized installation job card ensures technicians adhere to strict vacuuming, electrical sizing, and piping protocols.

Pre-Installation Site Assessment Fields

Before drilling, the job card must record wall structural integrity, outdoor unit bracket placement, electrical earthing status, supply voltage (must be 220V-240V), and MCB rating (16A/20A).

Copper Piping and Insulation Recording

Document the total copper pipe length run. Standard installations include 3 meters; any extra piping, nitrogen brazing, or electrical cable must be logged with customer sign-off to ensure accurate billing.

Deep Vacuuming Protocol for Inverter ACs

Inverter ACs operating on R32 or R410A refrigerants strictly require deep vacuuming down to 500 microns using a two-stage vacuum pump. Recording the final micron reading on the job card guarantees warranty compliance.

Final Commissioning and Customer Sign-Off

Record the suction pressure, discharge temperature difference (must be at least 8C-10C between return and supply air), drain water flow confirmation, and collect customer verification.
